What this site collects, what it cannot collect, and why the difference is a matter of architecture rather than of policy.

The tools run in your browser and send nothing

Every tool on this site does its work in the page you are looking at. Your answers are not transmitted, not logged, and not stored anywhere we can reach. This is not a promise about how we behave, it is a property of how the site is built: Covered Weight is a set of static files with no server-side code and no endpoint that could receive them.

Two consequences follow, and both are absolute. A condition, a body measurement or an insurer name never enters an analytics event. And no advertising or remarketing pixel runs on any page about a condition.

What is collected

Standard web request information reaches the service that hosts these files: an address, the page requested, the time, and the browser reported. That is the ordinary operation of the web and it is used to serve pages and to notice when something is broken.

If site analytics are enabled, they record which pages were viewed and how readers moved between them, at the level of the page rather than the person. They never record what you typed into a tool, because the tool never sends it.

Cookies

The site sets no advertising cookies. A preference such as a light or dark theme is stored in your own browser and never leaves it. If a paid link is ever active, the company on the other side may set its own cookie once you follow the link, on their site and under their policy, and how we make money says which companies those could be.

Your rights

Because the tools transmit nothing, there is generally no record of you to access, correct or delete. If you have written to us, that message exists and you can ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected].

Children

This site is written for adults dealing with their own coverage and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
